21 Days to Happiness: The Book, The Process, The Happiness

21 Days to Happiness: The Book, the Process, the Happiness

Do you want to be happier? Who doesn’t!

You may be thinking that happiness is elusive, only to be attained when you have the perfect business, income, shiny toys, relationship, or number on a scale.

This new book shows you how you can increase your happiness in just 10 minutes a day!

Newly published by Wellness Ink, 21 Days to Happiness was a journey for the author to write, and will take you along the trip as well. Here is the interview with Lynda Goldman (book coach and publisher) and Ingrid Kelada (author):

1. What is the most important message you want your book to convey?

Happiness is easy and it’s a priority. It’s something you choose everyday. We all need happiness habits.

  1. Why did you decide to write a book on this topic?

I became very interested in the science of happiness about 10 years ago.

People have always commented on how happy and energetic I am, so I started researching happiness. I love inspiring others and sharing practical, easy advice that makes a real difference. I hope you enjoy this step-by-step guide and find it useful!

  1. How is your book different from other books on your topic?

Every “Day” in the book, I present a technique subdivided into 5 short sections: the research, practical tips, how I apply this happiness habit in my life, a “try it now” activity, and my favourite resources such as videos, APPs, or websites.

  1. What did you find most enjoyable about writing your book?

It made me even happier! Researching and writing about happiness is a great way to focus on all the positive aspects of life.

  1. What did you find most surprising about the process of writing a book?

I didn’t realize that it “takes a village” to write a book! I loved collaborating with the people I recently met in the book publishing industry: editors, designers, writers, marketing experts and so many more.

  1. What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?

Making the time to write, when I have so many other exciting other projects and activities. Joining (Lynda Goldman’s) your Boot Camp and Writing Group helped keep me structured, motivated and accountable. That was key for me. It helped me take a book that I had been working on in my head for 3 years and put “pen to paper” or in my case “fingers to keyboard.”

  1. How will your book help you build your business or practice?

I wrote the book as a personal and professional challenge. I am more of a speaker. I chose to write so that I could reach new people. I want to change people’s lives and inspire them. Now that the book is out, I am confident I will be even more credible in my field.

  1. How are you planning to market your book to reach the right audience?

I am so proud and excited about my book that I tend to tell everyone: clients, friends and family and even strangers! I am already active on social media and will always have a few copies of my book with me…just in case!
