My name is Lynda Goldman.

I’m delighted to welcome you to our community of wellness writers, and help you get your book out into the world.

I’m an author of 44 books (and still counting), a publisher of health and wellness books, and a copywriter for the natural health industry.

If you’ve always wanted to write your book, but never had the time or ability to do it, you’ve come to the right place.

Books change lives –both for the readers and for the authors

Books love purple

Books have always had a special place in my life. In fact, reading books and then writing 40 of them have probably been the biggest influence in my health and my business.

I can still remember the day I fell in love with reading. I was about 6 or 7, lying in bed on a rainy November day, gripped by the tension in Nancy Drew’s The Secret Staircase.

At one point I remember thinking, “Wow, I love this.” I was hooked on reading for life.

But my catalyst for writing books was quite different. When I was quite young, my father frequently said to me, “Children in Europe have written books and symphonies by the age of 3. What have you ever accomplished?”

Not much, I had to admit. But it got me thinking.

Who am I and why should you believe me?

With a fine arts degree and not many job prospects, I got a teaching degree and a job teaching English as a Second Language at the college level. One day a colleague approached all the staff members about co-authoring a textbook.

They all said, “You’ll never get a publisher.”

I was the junior staff member, and completely naïve. I answered, “I’ve never written a book, but I’ll give it a try.”

We wrote our first book together and self-published 500 copies. Those were the days before digital publishing, and we paid several thousand dollars to have the cover and pages designed, and get the book printed.

It caught the eye of an acquisitions editor at Pearson Education/Prentice Hall, one of the largest textbook publishers in the world. They were looking for teachers to write language textbooks, saw our self-published book, and offered us a publishing contract for a 5-level series of books.

The series was incredibly successful, and we wrote two more series of three books each, plus second editions of each book (only books that sell well have second editions). We were then offered a contract with Houghton Mifflin to write another series.

A few years later I was offered a contract with Oxford University Press, the world’s most prestigious educational publisher, to write a business book, “You’re Hired. Now What?”

Oxford 2

I then wrote, “How to Make a Million Dollar First Impression” which had over 7 printings, and I sold the foreign rights to 10 countries. Next I wrote a book for the health industry, “Prescription for Success”, which sold thousands of copies to companies.

The “health nut” copywriter and ghost writer

I decided to stop teaching and began writing full time for clients.

As a long-time “health nut” I specialized in natural health, and launched my copywriting business, LyndaGoldmanCopywriting.com

Many of my clients wanted to write a book, but didn’t have the time or ability, so I ghostwrote books under their names. I can’t tell you their names (that’s their little secret). But you should know that…

Many health and business professionals are too busy to write their own books. They hire ghostwriters (like me).

Over the years, many more health professionals approached me about writing their books.

The truth is that almost EVERY health and wellness professional wants to have written a book, but many don’t have the time or expertise to actually sit down and write their book.

Is that YOU?

The alternative to expensive ghostwriters

Sure, hiring a ghostwriter is an easy option, but it’s not cheap! Not everyone can afford the fees, which average from $25,000 – $50,000 for a full book!

Why I wrote Write a Heal

I decided to bridge the gap  with Write to Heal, a book that  guides you, step-by-step, to writing your own book.

You’ll get the immense satisfaction of conceiving of, and creating your own book, at a fraction of the price of hiring a ghostwriter.

What’s more, you’ll learn a simple process for writing your book, so you can go on to write more books in the future – as many as you want!

Discover the life-changing power of Write to Heal

Of course, if you decide part way through that you can’t finish your book on your own, I’ll be there to help with guidance and resources.
